Gov Kristi Noem validated Ravnsborg’s participation in the deadly accident throughout a press conference Sunday early morning. The state’s Department of Public Safety is proceeding to explore the case. Noem said the division would certainly report straight to her on the examination.
“This is a tragic accident and the Office of the Attorney General extends our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of Mr. Boever,” Ravnsborg’s principal of staff, Tim Bormann, said in a declaration to POLITICO. “The Attorney General, and our office, are cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation of this event and will continue to do so.”
Ravnsborg was taking a trip home from a Republican charity event over a hundred miles away, the Associated Press reported.State Sen Brock Greenfield, that was at the fundraising events, told the AP that Ravnsborg was not consuming alcohol at the occasion, stating, “I really did not see him with anything but a Coke.”
