There has been a lot of hypothesis this week in regards to the future of Thunder Rosa within the professional wrestling business.
In reality, Rosa has been having some enjoyable with it on social media. It’s been nicely documented that Rosa dropped the NWA Women’s Championship to Serena Deeb on Tuesday evening.
Dave Meltzer was the first to report that Rosa has an interest from AEW and WWE to sign her. Meltzer acknowledged that WWE is her doubtless vacation spot.
On Wednesday evening, Rosa took to Twitter to tease which promotion she might sign with by writing AEW? WWE? NWA? on her leg.
NWA President Billy Corgan was doing a Q&A session on his Instagram account and through it, answered a fan query about Rosa’s standing. The NWA later shared a screenshot of his response on their Instagram Stories.
According to Corgan, she is under contract till 2021.
Corgan wrote, “No. You have to love press and media reports that don’t contact the company she is under contract to but instead listen to someone who has my email address but doesn’t write and ask. She’s under contract thru 2021 and there’s a reason for that (it’s called excellence and faith).”
So while Rosa does have interest from AEW and WWE, it seems that she won’t find a way to sign a contract with both of them if she wants till next year.
